Crazy ringing!

Days are getting hot and so is also ringing. Last two days we have ringed over 600 birds in each day. Number of Blackcaps is clearly increasing as also numbers of Eastern Bonelli's Warblers and Rüeppell's Warblers have been high.

Cyprus/Pied Wheatears are around in good numbers but identifying them stays challenging. Also Semi-collared Flycatchers are easily found in date palm plantations and city parks. Two days ago we went to see Basalt Wheatear which is still hanging in Uvda area. So, many interesting and scarce birds are easily found now but still we are waiting for the mega to arrive..
