Here I am, back again at the IBRCE. Ringing is still rather low as we are still in February. Mainly some local birds are caught. Steppe Eagles are passing in low numbers still, among them we saw today a lonely and very early Honey Buzzard. What a surprise. I was happy to get an Israeli tick today as a Chaffinch passed by. What a nice bird! Cetti's Warblers are also new for me in Eilat, not a single one was caught last spring. We have now internet connection in the station so I will be able to publish photos and some story quite often.
