This year seems to be good as well. Today I checked only the eastern slope and I found 7 singing males and one silent couple. I managed to catch one of the males. It was an adult bird.
Other birds worth mentioning were 5 Greenish Warblers and 2 Three-toed Woodpeckers.

Red-flanked Bluetail (Tarsiger cyanurus) adult male.
Summer 2010 male number 1.

The breast and head pattern.

The pattern of GCs. Notice the differences in colour and
in the degree of wear between outer and inner ones.
But it's still not a moult limit.

The pattern of PCs and ALs. Some adult males have bluish
fringes in PCs and ALs but in this bird they are olive-brown
with only a little hint of blue in AL1&2. We don't know if
it's only variation or can it indicate the age of bird.

The pattern of tail feathers.
