After two windy and rainy days, today we enjoyed a nice weather and already from the morning darkness it was again easily seen that today we really have birds on the island. One Yellow-browed Warbler was heard in the morning but the biggest surprise came in the afternoon when "kind a strange redstart" was seen briefly in the northern edge of the island. Jarno Rasmus and me went there to find out what it was and very soon we were enjoying nice views of Common Nightingale! It's the first record for Tankar Bird Observatory and 32nd record for Finland. Thanks to Keijo Tamminen who found the bird.
