Yesterday was the biggest ringing day for me ever in Tankar. And maybe the biggest number I've ever ringed alone during one day. It was easily seen already during the night when I made a net round for owls, the sky was full of Goldcrest calls and you could see tens of them flying all the time around the lighthouse. So the diversity of species ringed was not very high but still some nice species of Owls were included. During my four days now here, the daily ringing numbers have varied from only 34 to 581 birds. No true rarities have been seen, only two Yellow-browed Warblers yesterday.
