More Caspian Gulls

It seems that the more you look at those gulls the more interested of them you become. My recent birding activities have been mainly visiting Ämmässuo rubbish dump in Espoo. I have seen some nice 1cy Caspian Gulls and many more difficult 'almost like' Caspians. Here are some photos of 3 nice 1cy Caspians we saw there on Saturday, thanks to Petteri Hytönen for company and 5 hours' lesson to get me deeper in all those id matters that follows them Caspians in general!

I also did some ringing with Tomppa and Annika on Sunday morning. Nothing exciting was caught. In the CES site the water level was really high and made mist netting challenging. Total number of birds caught was around 60 including still some Reed and Sedge Warblers and growing number of Reed Buntings.
More details in Tomppa's blog.
