Weekend in eastern Finland
Last weekend I made a tour to very eastern parts of Finland trying to find some nice specialities we have there. I knew it was too late for all nocturnal song birds but after having lived there 8 years I just want to visit those familiar sites at least once a summer. Weather was perfect all the weekend and some nice birds seen there included tens of singing Corncrakes, singing Lanceolated Warbler, 2 Booted Warblers, tens of Blyth's Reed Warblers and of course I went to forest as well to see some Bluetails.
