A guest from Italy!

Yesterday I did a second CES ringing for this season, now in Östersundom. It was very bad morning with only a handful of birds but one bird can really make the morning! I caught a Pied Flycatcher male which was carrying an Italian ring!! The ring doesn't seem very old so I expect this one to have been ringed maybe even this spring on his way back to northern breeding grounds. Waiting for the data..
