Pallas's Sandgrouse in Lappeenranta!!

29.7.2010 was the warmest day ever recorded in Finland. The new temperature record stays now at 37,2'C. This day we also had a real rarity as a Pallas's Sandgrouse was found in Lappeenranta, eastern Finland. It's only 7th record for Finland and first twitchable bird ever.
I went to twitch it of course and the bird showed very well in flight and on the ground. Here is a link to photos that my friend took as the bird passed us:
